Poetry on Dreams- Is it all a dream?

Image
Dreams                                         ❤ Slipping into an inevitable slumber  Picking the jitters from my walking scrambles;  A bustling vision conjures up in the void  Usual Reality & illusions bickering bright;  ☀  Involuntarily I parade among the shadows  Grazing the same intellectual meadows;  Waxing & waning of roaring reticence  Rummaging & dovetailing all the reminiscence  ☀  Myths & legends feel revitalized  Floundering in dreams gets mystified  Heaven & earth lend their twins  Meddling again with cognitive wings  ☀  Reality is somewhat veiled in delusions  Dreams are just ugly devotions;  Wide awake it feels alike  You tell me, what to make of these conscious flights? Check out the video version:  Follow me on YouTube & Facebook . Thank you!

A Ray Of Rumors- A Poem About Life

Image
A Ray Of Rumors                                                                     The Life's Perspectives Wandering through the winds, I stumbled upon a way  The glaring sun was at its peak, wondering about what it had to speak.   The buzz around was so revealing, a distant sun looked so appealing  What it had to mutter, my mind couldn't utter!  Somber it all seemed, then a melancholic ray beamed  💎  The ray was strange draining all its remains  Away from the source, it had, its own remorse  Thirst of heat is a mighty feat  The urge was so pure I couldn't hold myself more  💎  I asked in fervor what is your fever?  You came from heaven to earth is that a curse?  Majestically you sail, is that you wail?  Carnival of dust you brought down ...

Meandering Moments- A wake-up call Poetry

Everything is Perfect

Image
Everything is Perfect In this material world, we are constantly facing a wave of happiness and misery all the time. It's similar to a wave which for having the crest u also needs to have the trough. So it goes altogether when there is one thing and there also have to be the opposite thing of the same. They are the only sustainer for both of them. This play is going on before each of us. One time we experience exuberance and after some time we are anxious for one reason or another. This is the natural law of anything in this material world. Everything is in rhythm and moves to and fro, but it's nothing to be sad about as we already discussed that it's our attitude only that makes an event and an event in itself has no value at all. Also,  as discussed in previous posts, there is only one substantial thing below all these rhythms. It's the common grounds for all the waves to n born, amplify, and then again lose their existence. Like in the case of heat and cold,...

Transient World

Image
Transient World All that we encounter throughout our lives are transient, impermanent. It's like a play going on in front of our eyes, the theme is played by the actors & every actor has its part to play. We all are in the play playing our part meticulously with all varieties of personas. But at the end of the day, it plays only, like in the original play the actors play his character and it's only called the best play in which actor gets completely lost in his character, but when the play ends the actor comes back to his original identity. This type of process is going on for eternity in from of us. Sooner or later everything has to change, nothing is permanent. As it is rightly said, "that which is born, has to die". So all is like an illusion only that comes and goes, it's like a mirage which is seen something substantial but when having a closer look it's nothing at all, it was just in our mind and senses and we made a good inquiry then it...

Mind and it's nature

Image
Mind and its nature Enough has been discussed so far regarding consciousness, sorrow & happiness of life but there still remains a very important topic that we are going to discuss in this blog, which is the mind itself. How the mind works, what are its natural tendencies, what it is made up of, why it creates sorrow and pain in our lives etc..and many other scenarios will be discussed here now. The 'mind' in our discussion today is that which is inside your skull and our subconscious mind. It's a very complex organ than any other in our body, it does so many complex things on its own throughout our life that we would never be able to perform. It's a treasure house if it's used properly but in most cases, it normally brings more sorrow than bliss. Seems like something has gone in the machinery, let's see what! The mind inside our skull helps us in daily routines and much of our analytical work. We use it constantly until we are awake and when we sl...

Socratic Ideas

Image
Socratic Ideas Socrates was a classical Greek philosopher & is also depicted as the father of western philosophy. In reality, he left none of his teachings in writing and whatever we have is just the writings of his students like Plato, etc. on his behalf. His quotes and teachings have survived since antiquity and below I share with you some of his quotes with a little commentary. His quotes are highly thought-provoking and worth remembering, So tie your seat belts please, here we go... Very true indeed. It says right wisdom comes when you know yourself. When you even don't know yourself properly then how can you know anything else, any inquiry of the object can only be made if the subject is truly aware and alert & when he is confused then how you may think of him to get the right knowledge of the outside. Mastery comes when you are more into your inside than the outside. Even if you take million more births and come again to investigate and understand the...

Rumi's Teachings

Image
Rumi's Teachings We have discussed a lot in our earlier discussions so I feel to levitate you and give you a little push it's essential to share the writings and teachings of some mystics or philosophers. Like many other mystics, Rumi's philosophy strikes directly at your heart, so it will soothe you and bring you some more understanding and comfort. For those who don't know this great mystic, I will give a little introduction here and then share some of his quotes with little commentary. Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi was a 13th century Persian Muslim poet, theologian & mystic. His poems are widely celebrated up until present times and also his works are translated into many languages. Among his works now I will discuss below some of the excerpts as quotes from his works, so reverberate with them and feel them from the bottom of your heart. So let's begin this life-changing experience together! 1) "Don't avoid tough situations, they are wonderful ...

Mentalism

Image
Mentalism Someone has well said that " it's not you sing when you are happy, it's when you sing you become happy", this quote is alluding to the mental world all around us. It shows that's it's our mental attitude that's more important than the thing in itself, anything it might be. Look anywhere around you it's the mental thought only which is the primordial ancestor of all the things created or uncreated. Whatever you see around is filled with the energy of consciousness only. Also, you too are the sum total of the consciousness of your own self also called self-image. Like I already said in my previous discussions that these things are too subtle to be defined in words but with analogies, some vague pictures can be drawn for further touch-ups. Like say we find two people in exactly the same situation and while one seems happy in it but the other seems to quarrel and blame something or the other. So it's not the event or things tha...

Consciousness

Image
Consciousness Consciousness is the fundamental basis of all the philosophies of the world or it's the first step & also a final destination. Be it eastern or western philosophy it's the only concrete ground on which all the philosophies build their edifices. It's only the higher consciousness they are always striving for, always it's the goal of an earnest seeker to raise his Consciousness from a material plane to the spiritual plane where everything is just freedom and bliss and nothing else. A place where suffering can never build his home. We also can't deny that we are conscious beings. All of us have his consciousness of right or wrong, good or bad, etc., the whole of our life is dependent upon consciousness only, without which we are no one, but our consciousness is limited to only the material plane. We are rarely open to the higher dimensions. At the most, we can be more refined and conscious but not of any higher than the plane in which we exi...
