Mind and it's nature

Image
Mind and its nature Enough has been discussed so far regarding consciousness, sorrow & happiness of life but there still remains a very important topic that we are going to discuss in this blog, which is the mind itself. How the mind works, what are its natural tendencies, what it is made up of, why it creates sorrow and pain in our lives etc..and many other scenarios will be discussed here now. The 'mind' in our discussion today is that which is inside your skull and our subconscious mind. It's a very complex organ than any other in our body, it does so many complex things on its own throughout our life that we would never be able to perform. It's a treasure house if it's used properly but in most cases, it normally brings more sorrow than bliss. Seems like something has gone in the machinery, let's see what! The mind inside our skull helps us in daily routines and much of our analytical work. We use it constantly until we are awake and when we sl...

Socratic Ideas

Image
Socratic Ideas Socrates was a classical Greek philosopher & is also depicted as the father of western philosophy. In reality, he left none of his teachings in writing and whatever we have is just the writings of his students like Plato, etc. on his behalf. His quotes and teachings have survived since antiquity and below I share with you some of his quotes with a little commentary. His quotes are highly thought-provoking and worth remembering, So tie your seat belts please, here we go... Very true indeed. It says right wisdom comes when you know yourself. When you even don't know yourself properly then how can you know anything else, any inquiry of the object can only be made if the subject is truly aware and alert & when he is confused then how you may think of him to get the right knowledge of the outside. Mastery comes when you are more into your inside than the outside. Even if you take million more births and come again to investigate and understand the...

What Is A Human Being?

Image
What Is A Human Being? We as human beings have progressed widely in all the areas of society's needs. We are astronomically advanced than our first stage of evolution called primitive man. In today's world, we have all sorts of amenities and comforts. We have conquered the skies, earth, and also many other planets too. We are much proud of our progress in every type of material field. We have much celebrated the so-called comforts of life but now we are just being played by these comforts only like a puppet whose strings are in the hands of sensuous pleasures alone. The already rich man is still running after more wealth to gratify his senses,& a mediocre man doesn't get anything substantial and he curses his condition but still, he is blindly running after everything to make his life more pleasant, whereas a poor man is a complete surrender & cynical and is nothing except cursing him or his family, neighbor, etc..so all are in the rat race in one way or t...

Rumi's Teachings

Image
Rumi's Teachings We have discussed a lot in our earlier discussions so I feel to levitate you and give you a little push it's essential to share the writings and teachings of some mystics or philosophers. Among his works now I will discuss below some of the excerpts as quotes from his works, so reverberate with them and feel them from the bottom of your heart. So let's begin this life-changing experience together! 1) "Don't avoid tough situations, they are wonderful ...

Frequency & Vibration

Image
Frequency & Vibrations You would have seen an old radio, people used to hear their favorite channels on the radio by setting a known frequency which they wanted to hear. Now this concept uses the mechanism of tuning the radio at the same frequency at which your channel is located. The same thing happens with human beings too, they are like a moving radio which vibrates at a certain frequency and it catches all the same types of channels that are located at that frequency like a radio. Not only humans but each and everything shares the same property. It's only the vibrations and frequencies all around us & we are also a constant emitter of a specific frequency which is the sum total of all the frequencies running inside you. You are constantly, without any fail as it's a natural law that no one can defy, emitting a frequency to the universe. Nikola Tesla, a great but not so made popular scientist has declared that " if you want to know the secrets of the un...

Mentalism

Image
Mentalism Someone has well said that " it's not you sing when you are happy, it's when you sing you become happy", this quote is alluding to the mental world all around us. It shows that's it's our mental attitude that's more important than the thing in itself, anything it might be. Look anywhere around you it's the mental thought only which is the primordial ancestor of all the things created or uncreated. Whatever you see around is filled with the energy of consciousness only. Also, you too are the sum total of the consciousness of your own self also called self-image. Like I already said in my previous discussions that these things are too subtle to be defined in words but with analogies, some vague pictures can be drawn for further touch-ups. Like say we find two people in exactly the same situation and while one seems happy in it but the other seems to quarrel and blame something or the other. So it's not the event or things tha...

Consciousness

Image
Consciousness Consciousness is the fundamental basis of all the philosophies of the world or it's the first step & also a final destination. Be it eastern or western philosophy it's the only concrete ground on which all the philosophies build their edifices. It's only the higher consciousness they are always striving for, always it's the goal of an earnest seeker to raise his Consciousness from a material plane to the spiritual plane where everything is just freedom and bliss and nothing else. A place where suffering can never build his home. We also can't deny that we are conscious beings. All of us have his consciousness of right or wrong, good or bad, etc., the whole of our life is dependent upon consciousness only, without which we are no one, but our consciousness is limited to only the material plane. We are rarely open to the higher dimensions. At the most, we can be more refined and conscious but not of any higher than the plane in which we exi...
