Ego

Image
Ego Ego is derived from the root whose meaning is "I". This Ego is not born with birth but developed with time. From birth, as time keeps running we inculcate a plethora of habits & features that are all mixing up of all such things, making an ego. Like I am of this community, I follow this religion, I wear these types of clothes, I eat only some particular type of food, I follow these customs, dogmas, rituals, and many other things like that. So if you will have a little thought over it then you will find that ego is nothing just the boundaries we have made for our own selves. These limitations and boundaries, we made for ourselves define our whole life, we live by them and die without ever thinking that what is these prison walls that we have drawn and why are we following such a smothered living. We are continuously suffocating ourselves with this concept of ego. But at the end of the day, we find out that it's the "me" part of the real "i...

Everything is Perfect

Image
Everything is Perfect In this material world, we are constantly facing a wave of happiness and misery all the time. It's similar to a wave which for having the crest u also needs to have the trough. So it goes altogether when there is one thing and there also have to be the opposite thing of the same. They are the only sustainer for both of them. This play is going on before each of us. One time we experience exuberance and after some time we are anxious for one reason or another. This is the natural law of anything in this material world. Everything is in rhythm and moves to and fro, but it's nothing to be sad about as we already discussed that it's our attitude only that makes an event and an event in itself has no value at all. Also,  as discussed in previous posts, there is only one substantial thing below all these rhythms. It's the common grounds for all the waves to n born, amplify, and then again lose their existence. Like in the case of heat and cold,...

Transient World

Image
Transient World All that we encounter throughout our lives are transient, impermanent. It's like a play going on in front of our eyes, the theme is played by the actors & every actor has its part to play. We all are in the play playing our part meticulously with all varieties of personas. But at the end of the day, it plays only, like in the original play the actors play his character and it's only called the best play in which actor gets completely lost in his character, but when the play ends the actor comes back to his original identity. This type of process is going on for eternity in from of us. Sooner or later everything has to change, nothing is permanent. As it is rightly said, "that which is born, has to die". So all is like an illusion only that comes and goes, it's like a mirage which is seen something substantial but when having a closer look it's nothing at all, it was just in our mind and senses and we made a good inquiry then it...

Mind and it's nature

Image
Mind and its nature Enough has been discussed so far regarding consciousness, sorrow & happiness of life but there still remains a very important topic that we are going to discuss in this blog, which is the mind itself. How the mind works, what are its natural tendencies, what it is made up of, why it creates sorrow and pain in our lives etc..and many other scenarios will be discussed here now. The 'mind' in our discussion today is that which is inside your skull and our subconscious mind. It's a very complex organ than any other in our body, it does so many complex things on its own throughout our life that we would never be able to perform. It's a treasure house if it's used properly but in most cases, it normally brings more sorrow than bliss. Seems like something has gone in the machinery, let's see what! The mind inside our skull helps us in daily routines and much of our analytical work. We use it constantly until we are awake and when we sl...

Socratic Ideas

Image
Socratic Ideas Socrates was a classical Greek philosopher & is also depicted as the father of western philosophy. In reality, he left none of his teachings in writing and whatever we have is just the writings of his students like Plato, etc. on his behalf. His quotes and teachings have survived since antiquity and below I share with you some of his quotes with a little commentary. His quotes are highly thought-provoking and worth remembering, So tie your seat belts please, here we go... Very true indeed. It says right wisdom comes when you know yourself. When you even don't know yourself properly then how can you know anything else, any inquiry of the object can only be made if the subject is truly aware and alert & when he is confused then how you may think of him to get the right knowledge of the outside. Mastery comes when you are more into your inside than the outside. Even if you take million more births and come again to investigate and understand the...

What Is A Human Being?

Image
What Is A Human Being? We as human beings have progressed widely in all the areas of society's needs. We are astronomically advanced than our first stage of evolution called primitive man. In today's world, we have all sorts of amenities and comforts. We have conquered the skies, earth, and also many other planets too. We are much proud of our progress in every type of material field. We have much celebrated the so-called comforts of life but now we are just being played by these comforts only like a puppet whose strings are in the hands of sensuous pleasures alone. The already rich man is still running after more wealth to gratify his senses,& a mediocre man doesn't get anything substantial and he curses his condition but still, he is blindly running after everything to make his life more pleasant, whereas a poor man is a complete surrender & cynical and is nothing except cursing him or his family, neighbor, etc..so all are in the rat race in one way or t...
